I'm back, after 4 years

well i have a bad story for you. I was band on 8-8-05. lost all my weight by 8-06. But guess what, I've gained all of it back. Going next Saturday to get a fill. I can't believe i did this to myself. all that work just to gain it all back

what contributed to your weight gain? Just curious? Could there be a leak? Or do you think that you just became complacent and not watching what went in your mouth? We all get that way at times?

I'm just asking so maybe your experience can help others, can you share a little more on your battle. The good news is like your title states - Your back! We are all battling this thing together. The great news that you do have a little helper called "the Band", its always there ready to help you when your ready to use it. You have proven you can do it, so dont be discouraged and we can do it together!

I'm so sorry to hear about your gain. I've not been banded yet, but this exact thing is something that I've wondered about many times. My surgery is in early October, so I'm gathering information like crazy to get prepared.

Like Sunshine2 said,,, you did it once, you can do it again,,, and you don't even have to go through surgery this time!! What a plus:-)

I know exactly how you feel...i was banded 11/05...lost all the weight and now i'm back to 200lbs...(gained 55lbs within 5 months) with my frame i should weigh about 140. I lost my insurance and can't get filled. I also now suffer with binging/purging...terrible GERD...and of course my self-esteem is down the drain....
