Nervous

Hi,

New to this, but have my surgery scheduled for August 4th. I am extremely nervous. I went to a support group on Wednesday night and they brought up a woman who had her band slip twice. The second time it slipped, it had to be removed. I know the pros of the this surgery outweigh the cons and I have a lot of research into it. If I hadn't I wouldn't even be this far in the journey. I would love to hear from others how they felt pre-op.

Thank you in advance for your support!

Hi I am Four weeks post surgery and all is well and down 47 pounds. I did just say 47 pounds. Like OMG... I did not have much of a pre op diet as I was scheduled to have surgery early one month early. Follow the rules and all will go well for you. Best wishes and keep us posted. Kathy imaluckydog

If you're not nervous, you're not normal. Let's face it, not only is this a major surgery, but it's a major, permanent change to your lifestyle. I'll have to say that I was also as excited as I was nervous.

Best thing I've ever done. 3 mo. post op and I've lost 33 pounds since surgery, 52 total. Best wishes! -BG
