LAP-BAND Patients

I had surgery on june 17 and still having port pain. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to help relieve the pain without pills. I've lost 30 lbs but i haven't had a fill yet.

I had my surgery the same day. I’m not sure what kind of pain you’re in, but I am still very sensitive in that area. Wearing a shirt is a little uncomfortable as the material rubs on my healing cut. It’s also hard for me to get comfortable in bed. It hurts a little to turn over or to get in bed in the first place. I don’t need to take anything for it though. It’s not that painful. If you’re in a lot of pain then I think you better call the doc. Otherwise I thinks its all normal and part of the healing process. Maybe a “wiser” bandster can be more informative…

Good luck, hope you feel better, and most of all CONGRATS!!!
