I had lapband surgery 3 weeks ago and I feel minimal restriction. I literally can almost eat anything. Either I have stretched my esophagus or possible band slippage? Not sure or maybe its because I havent gotten a fill yet. Let me know about your first month out of surgery?

My surgery is tomorrow, but from what I have read and been told by my doc there won't be any restriction until the first fill and then it usually take 2-3 fills to really feel the restriction. Hang in there!

Yep, perfectly normal. Don't eat too much volume at one time or you can mess things up as this period is for healing. 'Bandster Hell' is where you have your band, but no restriction yet (I have a little now after my second fill). Best Wishes!-BG
