LAP-BAND Patients

I had surgery 2 weeks ago. I need to know how many calories, fat, sugar and carbs that I should be eating. So far today I have only had 240 calories and I only have dinner left. Can any one help me out?

Thanks:confused:

I had the surgery about 4 years ago. If you are not losing weight then you are eating too much. My doctor says not any more then your fist at any time. Not much but that's the unfortunate facts.

I believe you are eating too little. Anything around 800 cals for the day or less will put you into 'Starvation Mode' and your weight loss will stop and stall as your metabolism will slow to compensate. Give your doc a call, but mine says 1000-1200 cals per day. I try to get in at least 60g of protein, usually more. Good luck to you! -BG

Thanks to you both I will try calling my doctors office today. I want to do this right! I have lost 17 pds so far 2 weeks so I am happy. However I would like to lose as much as I can before Christmas as I want to do a family picture and don't want to look like a cow!
