Minor Setback

Well, remember my last post? I guess I'm waiting longer than I thought I was going to be. The doctor got stranded due to the rain because it closed the highway due to flooding. So now I just don't know what I'm going to do. They rescheduled my surgery for tomorrow, but it's supposed to rain then too. I'm very distraught about all this. They said when I called the hospital when I got the hotel that he had to turn around and go home and the highway is still closed. They said they guarantee he'd be there tomorrow.

We'll see I guess.:thumbup:

Well that just sucks! I hate that for you. However, I'm a firm believer that things happen for a reason, and tomorrow just may be a better day for you. Hang in there, and do something fun for yourself today. You deserve it!!!

Thank you so much guys. I really needed that. Right now I'm just hanging out at the hotel relaxing with my hubby and my mom. We just had a friend come by that has been banded and talked with us for a while. He had it in November and has lost 120 pounds. It was great to get more input on what this will be like afterwards from someone else. I can't wait for tomorrow. So I guess tomorrow is my new Birthday. Thank you all for the support and everything else over these last few weeks.

Hopefully I'll be talking to you tomorrow as a bandster. Even though I said that this time yesterday.
