LAP-BAND Patients

Hello,

I'm 52 and I was told on my last visit that my pouch above my band was enlarged which meant it was dilated. It's when the stomach has enlarged above the band. My doctor deflated my band to give my esophagus a chance to heal and I have gained 13 pounds in 8 weeks. I go for my consultation on 9/25/09 and my doctor will be discussing repairing the band or gastric bypass. I'm so distruaght. I feel as though I'm peddling backwards. I hope this is not the case with you.
