Hi, I am very new to this journey.  I am in the just considering phase so I have not yet committed.  I haven't even visited a doctor as I am a very private person and need to get recommendations.

I will start from the beginning, I am 30 years old.  In my life I have always been on a diet.  It has been a constant battle.  At this point I feel like my wright is the only thing I can't control.  I am always able to lose weight and get to a certain point.  Following that point I get very frustrated about plateauing for so long.  I end up emotionally eating.

I feel awful about myself and it really hurts my self confidence.

Here is where it gets tricky, I am a stay at home mom of two young kids.  My husband works a lot, and I have no family to help me.  I don't even know what kind of recovery is involved.  Would I need to hire help?  How long would I be out of commission?  I haven't even decided on what kind of surgery would be the most beneficial for me. Any guidance and support I can get from this group would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
