Hi my name is Carol and I am now waiting for my surgery which will be October 1st. Last summer I had to have 3 spinal blocks as my spine had herniated. The pain was terrible. In March my doctor referred me to physical therapy that has been amazing for controling the pain without medication. My spine doctor talked to me about the surgery and explained that with my medical conditions and my desire to move forward with my life goals that this surgery would be beneficial. I have joined this group for support and encouragement. I look forward to seeing where my health journey is going to take me and hopefully being able to get off some of my medications. I really enjoy interacting with others, so look forward to getting to know you.
