I've been doing lots & lots of research on the different types of bariatric surgeries and have determined that the best one for me would be the gastric sleeve...hope the doctor agrees!
I'm in my late 40's and have been overweight most of my entire life. I was a healthy weight during my teen years, but then I didn't eat but very little and was VERY active. I'm sooooo ready to lose this weight and get some energy back.
Would love to hear from those of you who are just starting on your journey as well as those of you who can offer advice as you proceed along your journey steps ahead of me.
My biggest worry is not being able to "eat" with the family like normal. I just. love. food.!!!!!
