Hello!

First I'd suggest you seek clarification from your Dr., you should receive a list of the what is acceptable both pre and post surgery.

I had everything that you listed including the Protein shakes and Isopure drinks as the Dr required that I get 100g of protein and limit carbs to no more than 70g each day during the pre-op diet. I also was able to get him to agree to letting me include a creamy Soup for dinner - he only asked that I watch the carbs and calories as they're usuallyl loaded.

This is a great site for many things; however, I'd strongly suggest that you contact the Dr's office - that's what the Dr and his staff are for.

Wishing you success in your journey.

There are so many variations on the pre-op diet from what to eat/drink to length of time (the post-op diet, as well). If you're unsure about what you are supposed to be doing pre-op, I agree with Cherish, you need to call your doctor. For instance, my pre-op was two weeks long, so I might have been given more leeway on what I was allowed to have versus someone with a shorter period of time.
