AvMed Insurance

I am currently waiting to go for my consultation on 12/1/09 but I want to know if anyone is using AvMed Insurance for WLS. How long did it take for approval and what are the the requirement before surgery? I am just worried about being approval. I have high cholestrol and heartburn. My weight is 212 with a 38 BMI.:wink2:

    I just signed up for Avmed today. The Rep said they covered lap band, but I was wondering if you had any luck with them? Also do they have requirments you have to meet? Thanks!
