Sippy Cup?

This is a bit of an odd question but I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with a solution.

I usually drink my water from a 1 litre bottle that has a straw attached.

I understand that straws are not good after surgery so I need to find another type of water bottle.

A non-spill bottle because our cats make a sport out of knocking over our drinking glasses!

So I'm wondering if the sippy cup style of container is any good, or is it still too straw-like?

I'm not around little kids so I'm out of my league here.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks!

I think I am going to order some Tervis Tumblers. Or find a store where they are sold close to me.

Here's their website: Product Details, Tervis Tumbler

Some ladies that I work with have them, and they have a kind of sippy cup top that you can put on them. You can also buy them with designs in the insulated part.

They act like sippy cups but look like adult cups...works for me.

Just thought I would share, I do not work for them.
