Well I got my first consultation scheduled... November 20th. Is that what everyone is calling the "seminar"? I never went to an actual seminar to make my decision. Just educated myself online... I'm nervous and anxious as I've mentioned in a few other posts. What kind of hoops am I going to have to jump through to take my next step... its really quite frustrating the whole hurry up and wait thing... ugh... Does anyone (living in Ca) have Blue Shield of California out there?

I called my insurance company to see what was required by them for bariatric surgery and they told me a psch eval and a consult with nutritionist. So you might want to call them and ask.

I did everything backwards I couldn't make the seminar so I had a consult then psych eval then seminar just to put it on my record that I went.It took a week for the psych eval to get to the office than they sent everything to ins and it took a week to get my letter .I have to call monday to see whats next.
