Hi Jordan girl -

I'm not far behind you at 354, I don't ahve a surgery date just working on getting insurance approved.

Work on getting around and walking if you haven't already that's very important in the days just after surgery to help with the gas relief.

Im almost 2 yrs post op and right with ya at about 370.. was 465 before starting pre op diet and 387 day of surgery. So 17 lbs down in the last 2 years woohoo! NOT!! doc tryed to get me to go with the bypass.. should of listend :crying:

Been there too.... Pre op weight 374 on March 24th 2009. Just got my first fill last week. Current weight 269!!

Love, Love, Love my band and new lifestyle...

I wasn't far behind you. I started at 350 and am now down to 208. It's been working out great for me. I lost 30 lbs 6 months before surgery and then gained it all back before I even got banded.

I was not that far behind you at 350 when I first started this whole process. I'm trying to lose 30 lbs preop to shrink my liver but that has been a chore. I've only managed to lose about 15 so far and that has taken me the past 3 months! I've been really good too and counting my calories and etc. I envy the people who say they go on a diet and lose 20+ lbs in the first month and wonder what the heck is wrong with me!

So don't feel too bad, you're not alone. Just stick to the program and try not to lose focus. :wink2:
