more fiber talk

Ok, it's been 3 days since the incident a.k.a. complete he|| a.k.a. my 1st post-surgery BM, which I won't go into again!

Point is, everyone had thier suggestions which all helped but now I want to know what everyone does on a regular basis to get fiber.

My doc says drink metamucil - someone on here suggested "fiber hard candy" but I can't find that anywhere.

I'm just struggling so much with getting regular again. I go from one extreme to the other - constipation to diarrhea. I need to be regular!

Laura,

I have had constipation all so, every since I had surgery. I found this quaker instant oatmeal called weight control it has 7 grams of Protein and 6 grams of fiber. I have been eating it every morning for 4 days now. It has helped me alot.
