I haven't been on much, but wanted to ask if anyone has had the kind of problems I have, and found something that helps. I'm 2 years post surgery. About 6 months after surgery I started having a lot of coughing at night, along with other acid reflux symptoms. Had reflux pre-surgery, but never this bad. Went back to surgeon twice, and he removed Fluid from band. Actually he's now removed most of the fluid. But I still have this problem, sometimes worse, sometimes better. I've taken Prilosec, and now talking Nexium. Sometimes that seems to have helped, but recently I've had nightly coughing spells. This is a serious problem because I can't sleep. Using a wedge pillow, but sometimes no position seems to help unless I sit up in a chair. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
By the way, I have lost 70 lbs. and am keeping it off, so I'm pleased with that.
Thanks for any help.
