Hi, im a newbie and appreciate all the help. Im a 33 year old male, fluctuating from 175 pounds to 215 pounds since i can remember. I have a binging issue and not a frequent eating issue. First question.. although i am low on the BMI, will the lap band be effective and the surgery of choice for people who stuff all meals and snacks into 1 private nightly event. Does the band work equally on men and women? Im sure most of my disorder is in my head but i think the harm of these weight fluctuations are worse than a surgical solution. Thanks
