Ulcer issues?

Does anybody know if you can still have the surgery if you've had an ulcer?

I think it would depend on many factors. If you attend a seminar the surgeon who runs it can advise you!

I have ulcers and a hiatal hernia. I'm having sugery Monday morning. My surgeon is going to fix the hernia (which will help with the acid reflux), and hopefully being on a restrictive diet will heal any ulcers. I know another person who had ulcers and had no problem with the surgery.
