Today I finished my 6 mo diet and will now be waiting for my approval. The doctors office said it should take about 2 weeks.

Can anyone with Cigna let me know how long it took them?

When you find out I would love to know!! My last weigh in is on 09/25 and that will finish out my 6 mos. Have everything else done and ins can be submitted after my last visit. My lapband advocate seems to think I can have surgery mid Oct....I hope so!! This last 6 months seem to have been loooong!!

Question - Did you do weekly weigh ins or monthly?

well I have cigna and my experience was interesting to say the least. I went through everything required and it was submitted for approval. I was denied within a week because the surgery center that my surgeon uses wasnt in network. After re-submitting everything about 3 times they finally found a hospital to do the surgery at about 5 months later. To answer your question it took about a week for me to hear an answer every time.
