Getting Banded tomorrow. Any final advice?

Hello,

I am getting banded at 2:30 PM tomorrow. I am scared out of my mind. Does anyone have and last minute advice. I bought a heating pad, Gas-X and stuff like that. I am going to starve since my surgery is so late in the afternoon. I am concerned about being dehidrated more than food. If I stop drinking Water and midnight the night before. That will be 14+ hours. I feel like I'm going to not wake up.

Biotene ® Mouth Spray

they also have a moisturizing mouthwash, both available

in the toothpaste section. I buy mine at the local grocery store.

My bariatric center says to make sure to be well hydrated the day before, so I'm working on more than 64oz of fluids today.

It sounds like we won't be interested in fluids after surgery, either, though we will have to take them in, very slowly, as soon as we are able.

I was going to take a break from the forums, and relax the day before my surgery, but that's not happening. I sure hope all of us 09/09/09 banders get some sleep tonight!

The surgery is the easy part. It's waiting on the restriction to come that is the hard part. Just be very, very patient. Good Luck!!!!
