October 2009 Bandsters???

Hi all this is my first post, I am scheduled for the lap band surgery on October 2nd, My insurance made me wait 6 months..arghhhhhhh.. I did all the tests stress test, endo, sleep apnea, psych etc etc......

This is long over due, I cant wait. I need to loose about 120 lbs, I was told i have to do the liquid diet a week before surgery .... I am afraid of failling and not eating the "right" foods. can anyone tell me what they are eating the first few weeks after surgery? Protein shakes? how many daily and what else in a "normal" day?

I also would love to meet someone else with a close band date to go thru this with together and lean on each other......sorry for being so long winded....... I just dont want to fail this.....thank you
