And I took the steps to start the process, now that i register what happens afterwards... I'm a little confused. Are you asking what happens here or what you do for surgery?

If it is about surgery, you need to attend an educational seminar and find a surgeon. You can do a search online for bariatric surgeons to find one in your area.

Your surgeon will then tell you what your next steps are. It seems to vary depending on doctor and what the patient's other conditions may be. Generally all include a meeting with a nutritionist and a psychologist. Once pretesting is done, your doc submits the info to your insurance for approval if you are not selfpay. Some insurances require a 6 month supervised diet beforehand.
