Approved!!!! by Aetna!!

It only took a week and one day to get approved! I am amazed, excited, scared, and relieved all at one time!

I did the three month multi program, and I guess I jumped thru enough hoops for them!

Now, I need to get that surgery date!

HAve a great day all!

that is wonderful!! Congratulations!!!!!

Congrats! Aetna is awesome!

Jodi,

Congrats!

I am also an Aetna three monther (in the middle of it). I saw you had two psych evals - I did not see where Aetna required those in the rules. I did have one that is mandated by my surgeon.

Did they question anything?

Thanks

Gracie Mae:confused:

CONGRATULATIONS I know you must be thrilled now the fun part begins keep your fingers crossed for me

Yea!!!! That is wonderful news. I am so hoping to copy this post tomorrow!!!

Tomorrow will be one week and one day and I was thinking of calling. Did you call them? ( I have Aetna and did the 3 month program too). I was worried if I should call or not.

Congrats again...your on your way!

boo

I love Aetna! I had my approval back in 4 days and I was just banded yesterday. They let me stay one night in the hospital and my doctor said he prefers his patients to stay overnight. I loved that morphine button, even though I have to admit the pain is almost nothing! I really found this to be easier than my gall bladder or tubal surgeries.

Congrats and good luck!

Thanks to all the congrats guys!

Gracie Mae....I only had to do the two psych evals because my surgeon requires that. I really wouldn't of had to do any, according to Aetna.

And yes, I did call, a total of three times I think. I wouldn't even know now if I hadn't called yesterday. The ins rep at the docs office is on vacation this week, so no one from my docs office has even called me! Hmmm....seems like they would check her messages, I think I will call them today.

OK, I have to get ready for work! Grrrr, I want a stay at home job! If I could just go to work in my jammies....hehehe :)

Have a great day all!

Jodi
