How is the lap band surgery doen? Is the stomach open?:biggrin: I'm schedule to mee my surgeon on 09/21/09:unsure:

thanks for the quick response. There is a way ppl can get hernia after the surgery.

If you go on lapband.com on the left hand side in the middle of the page there's a video you can watch that's very informative on how the surgery goes. Good luck on your journey!

Most are done laproscopic, but I know my surgeon and I think most surgeons reserve the right if they feel they can not do it that way the day of surgery they can do it open as well. where you are cut open.
