October 6, 2009 = Surgery Date !

I haven't lost too much before surgery... about 10-12 pounds but I plan to lose more in the next month right up until the date. I really have gotten serious about preparing myself for life after LB surgery.

I purchased Protein powders and supplements about a month ago and have been doing the Proteins at least once a day. I think I lost those 10 lbs in that month alone just by doing the protein and changing my diet.

Now I can say i'm totally used eating so much better... i love all the foods that are high protein/low cal/low carb/low sugar.

So as I said, I think I'm about as prepared as I can be. And I'm so excited!

That's great news, and good luck...my surgery is the day before. I'm doing a lot of protein shakes and weight control oatmeal, and a small dinner. We can do it!
