Just Learning

Ok, so my father went through a mid life crisis or something and came home with a brand new Harley Dyna Superglide awhile back ago. I have been in LOVE ever since. I got to steer it a few days ago (I had to lean around him, highly uncomfortable btw), and I had no clue what I was doing.

I never learned how to ride a bike, I can't drive anything with a clutch, and I have an incredibly short attention span. I know that it will be a couple of years before I will ever be able to actually drive one, but does anyone have any tips on how to learn???

Actually, yes! If your state offers it, as Texas does, take the Motorcycle Safety Course. You spend a day in the classroom and a day on a bike. In Texas, the company that gives the course also has to furnish the bikes. You have to have a helmet, gloves and lace up boots. When you finish the two day course you will be sure whether you want to be a rider or a driver. Good luck and keep the rubber side down.
