Desperately Need My Band!!!

Well, as you all know my original surgery (7/20) was delayed because I was sick. I was supposed to be banded this week and over the weekend my dad (not biological but extensive medical history including transplant) was put back in the hospital and now his heart along with his mind it seems is going bad - so cancelled again. I am SO sad for him and cant imagine life without him!!!

Since stopping my optifast I back up to 240.8! I need my band so desperately and have to keep waiting. I'm not trying to be selfish but I can't stand living this way anymore! I looked forward to the help the band would give and just want it.

I guess I will have to join the August forum. Hopefully soon. Thanks for listening!

Sorry to hear about your father! I do believe everything happens for a reason. If you were banded, you would probably be so focused on how your father is recovering rather than making sure you yourself are recovering.

Just try to remember that you WILL get the surgery! Patience really is a virtue, it's just hard to obtain lol An extra week or two will seem like nothing once you're done with surgery and on your way to a healthier you.
