how long does restiction last after fill

I have had 3 fills and have 6.5cc in a 10cc band. My first 2 fills didnt do much. I had my 3rd 3 weeks ago and had some trouble with food going down. I thought this is what resctiction feels like. I could feel some discomfort if I didnt chew well. This lasted about 3 weeks. In the last 2 days this feeling has stopped. I feel like i can swallow easier. Is it strange that the trouble getting food down suddenly stopped? What does restriction feel like? I do feel full quickly but have none of the sensation of the food "going down" for lack of a better term. I am just hoping this is normal.

Restriction is when you suddenly want to stop eating. You are full and you want no more food. At least, that is how it's always been for me. The food going down weird is probably you not chewing enough. If the food is going down easier now, your probably chewing better. If you feel full after you eat and your not going over the limit your supposed to eat, then it looks like you should be fine.

I've had this same thing happen and don't understand. After my last fill for the first 3-4 weeks I felt "restricted". I felt full after a few bites, could feel a tightness around my stomach area, and felt very in-control. But over the last 3-4 weeks I don't feel that restriction anymore, I can eat a whole sandwich and I don't feel the tightness. I'm losing weight very slowly, but usually lose 2-3 pounds at my 6 week check-ups. I've lost a total of 40 pounds since Sept.08 most was before and right after surgery. I'm starting to get discouraged. I have added exercise with a personal trainer and I'm hoping that will help.
