  1. I've had this same thing happen and don't understand. After my last fill for the first 3-4 weeks I felt "restricted". I felt full after a few bites, could feel a tightness around my stomach area, and felt very in-control. But over the last 3-4 weeks I don't feel that restriction anymore, I can eat a whole sandwich and I don't feel the tightness. I'm losing weight very slowly, but usually lose 2-3 pounds at my 6 week check-ups. I've lost a total of 40 pounds since Sept.08 most was before and right after surgery. I'm starting to get discouraged. I have added exercise with a personal trainer and I'm hoping that will help.

Going for 1st fill tuesday, scared

I had my first fill yesterday. My blood pressure was through the roof when I got there I was so anxious but it was easy and over before I knew it. I didn't even feel the needle go in. They had me tighten my stomach muscle then sit up like to start a sit up and then it was over.
  4. Thanks everyone for the info. I've just been off the liquids since Thursday and I've had difficulty getting in my protein. I do like the Adkins chocolate shakes. It says on the package not to freeze, but has anyone tried?
  5. Hi Everyone, I'm new here and I'm hoping to get answers to questions. I was justed banded on Sept. 29th and I'm doing well so far. Not any pain from the incisions, but gas is another story:redface:. I don't know what "normal" is supposed to feel like at this point. I sometimes get a pain that feels like a gas bubble under my breast. I don't know when I feel full (still on liquids) and/or if I feel full. I've also felt depressed, wanting to cry, mourning eating out, angry and a little embarrassed that I've gotten myself into this place (gaining and not being able to lose the weight). Are so many emotions normal? I'd like to get feedback from those at the same place and pasted this point in their journey.

    Sept. Samurai Surgery Check-in

I almost missed the Sept. Samurai group. I had surgery on Sept. 29th. Things went very well, I just get tired out so quickly. I've just found this site today and have enjoyed reading the post. I wish everyone well. I've lost 5 lbs pre op and 15 lbs post op. But I am ready to chew something.:tt2:
