Unbelievable!

I joined this forum because like everyone else here, I also have had the lap band surgery, to be more specific I had the Realize band placed on June 15th. I have now posted a few questions about things I have had concerns about yet, I still wait for anyone here to help me with any of my questions. I'm NOT asking questions that could not be answered, just general questions.

My whole life I have been overweight and faced ridicule face to face, I really thought in this medium and given the fact that everyone else who is in this forum faces the same challenges would be a little more helpful and friendly.

To be honest I feel like I have the plague. So on that note, I will leave this forum because obviously even on here there's cliques and if one is not a part of the clique then they are an outcast!:cursing:

I also read through her previous posts, and they are posted in sections I don't typically read. The web site has changed, and now there are so many sub-categories, I really only go to three or four. I rarely go to pre or post surgery anymore, since I have been out 7 months now. And her titles were a bit obscure, so I doubt I would check them. Sorry her attitude and experience are negative, and I hope that does not deter other newbies:blush:

Not to repeat what others have already said but they're right about the fact you got to give it a chance. Many of us have dealt with weight issues and ridicule. I've found that as you read different post, your questions can be answered. I was banded 6/3/09 and just found a post that talked about what I was experiencing but I didn't know how to word it. That post made a HUGE difference in how I look at the band. Do what you can to make this website work for YOU. YOU are whats important. You are welcome to talk to me as often as you need, we're all in this together.

You jumped the gun that's all I can say or either that your impatient! Sorry your leaving but at teh end of the day it IS your choice! Good luck rather you go or stay!

"It does not demonstrate an impenetrable cliquishness on the board"

I really like this quote. I laughed out loud!

This board of ladies is awesome!

I found that when I posted a question at night, if I went to bed, I woke up in the morning to several answers to my question. So, my suggestion is to sleep on it before freaking out!
