How soon post-op can we exercise?

I'm post-op 4 weeks (Aug 24) . I've been walking daily on my treadmill but haven't started back to my aerobics / pilates exercise yet. Does anyone know how soon we can get back to those exercises without pulling or harming my band?

I started walking for excersice about two weeks after I was banded. I still walk several times a week but..... I reallly need to step it up a notch and join the gym or something!!! Good luck wit your band and with your excersicing. Start out slow and work your way back up as you feel ready!!

Dr Ortiz told me that I could start back playing tennis at about 3 wks postop... slowly and as long as nothing hurts... and that I should refrain from situps for 6 months...
