Just a Week away...July 20th

Hello gang... Im just a week away from my new birthday.....I have an appt with my surgeon on Wednesday the 15th and a visit to the hospital on 16TH...I am so nervous but yet so ready to start living a new banded life. I have been on liquids for the past week and let me tell you...:crying:..I am dyin..(at least it feels that way) but I just keep looking forward to the reward.. I was wondering and dont know if you guys could help me.. when I went to see my doctor for my last visit before surgery (7/10/09) he said I have fatty liver due to the diabetes...I was wondering if they will be able to do the surgery with the fatty liver... I will ask the surgeron on Wednesday just wondering if you wonderful people have been in this situation? Thanks and any advice will appreciated....Oh yeah... I found out how to do the signature...Check me out!!!

I am to be banded tomorrow (20th) as well! Im very excited however this liquid diet has made me have a few freak outs...wondering if I can do this :wink2:

I also have been going through this website for days and honestly, while some of the information is helpful, it also makes me more nervous. I know everyone is different, people heal differently at their own pace but I also wonder if all of this has created more of mental hardship for me than it really is. I read all the posts of people saying "What did I do to myself?" and "I can't move!"etct, While I think it does create realistic expectations its also a bit worry-som. I think I am just going to have to suck it up...being sleep deprived and starving makes a monster out of me

Good luck to you tomorrow! It will all be worth it in the end, and I keep reminding myself as to why I signed up for this in the first place!!
