Need help finding a Dr. in Nashville

I live in Hendersonville, and I need to find a Dr. that will do a fill on someone they did not band. I have had my band for 6 years, and no fill for the last 4 of those. I called a few doctors on Friday and was told $500 for a fill, and NO they don't see people they didn't do surgery on. I was 289 day of surgery 1/3/03 and I am 250 today... I am so ready to get back on the wagon and get this weight off... PLEASE HELP!!!

Amy

My surgeon was Dr. Willie Melvin with the Vanderbilt Weight Loss Clinic. He is absolutely wonderful! I don't know if he'll fill you if he didn't place your band, but it's worth a shot. He is very reasonable and really listens to your problems. When insurance denied me twice, he took me on as a special project, and got me approved. I cannot say enough good things about him. Call him--if he won't do it, I'd be willing to bet that he can point you in the right direction.
