Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum so be gentle
I just completed my pre-operative testing and am scheduled to start a 7 day clear liquid diet on Monday and my surgery is scheduled 7-6-2009.
When I left the pre-operative testing facility yesterday I was left in limbo due to my EKG showed a possible Antelateral Infarct. The Anesthesiologist acted like no biggie but the fact it was brought up and they want the Cardiologist to clear the EKG concerned me a little.
I then went to the Surgeon's office and they too acted like no biggie. I figured I would have to cancel the surgery date and subsequently the start of the clear liquid diet to validate the EKG. I told the surgeon's office I did not want to start the clear liquid Monday and then get cancelled.
Has anyone had the EKG show this result?
