Please explain restriction..

Will I ever know what restriction is. I have not had a fill yet But how will I know that I am comfortably full? Right now I have no idea what that feels like. I only know what uncomfortably full feels like. I am just wondering what it is going to feel like after I have restriction..

Does that make any sense?lol

TIA

Amy

For me, there is a VERY thin line between comfortable, and uncomfortable--ive learned(very difficulty,i must say),to eat veeeery slow becuase youll fill up so quickly you wont know it until your done eating and oh my goodness i was in agony!!LOL plus, ive had a few fills (8cc now in a 10cc band),and its so difficult through each phase to tell what will happen--to full to quick,or not full AT ALL.lol My advise to you take it REALLY slow and stop and talk to someone,or watch tv ,then go back to eating,....you'll find your "comfortable full" LOL--I HOPE that made sense =-)

For me.... the first few days felt like Hulk Hogan was grasping my stomach at the top. Then after 2-3 days it started to relax. I think because I started to relax. The band is finicky and different for everyone.

Try and explore. That is really my only advice. Sorry.

Sometimes I

1) am smart and stop eating when I'm satisfied

2) hiccup and know that the band is telling me I'm full

3) feel like I've lumped my meal in my throat, then I take a swallow of something because I think I'm chocking, and the something comes back.

4) am smart enough to just cook/serve a bandster serving

5) just get tired of chewing and give the rest to my spoiled dog

6) ......
