Slime???

Can anyone tell me what this slime actually is?

And where does it comes from?

I don’t think it’s solely saliva but it doesn’t seem to have stomach acid. So just what this hell is this uber stringy, thick, slimy crap?:blushing:

I think it is usually mostly saliva mixed with any liquid or liquified food you have consumed that hasn't gone through the band. its pretty gross any way. Definately no stomach acid in mine.

SLIME is mucus secreted by mucousal lining (like the esophagus). It isn't saliva. When you PB you may bring up saliva and SLIME (nickname) but mucus is different.
