I was banded yesterday and I'm wondering how long this gas pain will last. I've read to use Gas X, but it's not doing anything for me. Right now, I just want to know if there's an end in sight!

Hi Puddin, First Congrats on your new band!

As far as the Gas..everyone is different. Mine lasted for about 2 week but each day it got better and better. Walk Walk Walk, that is the best medicine you can give yourself for the gas..get up and get to walkin, it helps to move it around and get it out! The more you sit around the worse it gets..

walking is the answer.. I guess i better get up and move around

I had terrible gas pain (shoulders, neck and back) for 4 days...by day 5 I was ok. I tried to do as much walking and sitting up straight as I could.
