Pulmonologist question

What should I expect when I go to the pulmonologist appointment as part of the pre-surgery testing? I don't snore (at least according to my husband)...are sleep tests standard protocol for the LB or does it vary according to patient and drs.? Thanks for your help!

When I went they did an arterial blood gas (ABG) test, asked me a bunch of questions about my sleep, did a cursory physical exam of my throat, ears, & nose, and then I did several different types of breathing tests. After that I was scheduled for my overnight sleep study. I don't know if it is standard or not for all WLS patients. At my initial consult I was asked if anyone ever told me I snored loudly, my response was yes, so they scheduled me for the appt. as a part of my pre-op work up.
