Liquids...Mushies

Someone PLEASE explain difference between liquids and mushies.;)

It's all so confusing...clear liquids, full liquids, mushies, pureed. Different names for same stuff?

    I am new to this. From what I understand clear liquid consist of items you can see through (chicken, beef broth, etc.) Full liquids include your dark murky stuff like protein drinks ugh ;) Day 3 for me post-op on the protein drinks. I have 12 days left. I hope I make it! I think mushies are things that can go thru a strainer like watery cream of wheat, grits, etc.
