How Long?

How long did it take from the time your insurance approved your surgery to get it scheduled? I am hoping to get mine scheduled for the 21st, which is only like 2 weeks away, my husbands first day of long weekend at work. If I can do this he will be here to help me with the girls for 5 days after. I go Friday for my pre-op teaching class.

I was scheduled immediately. My letter came in the mail, I called the surgeons office and had a week and a half to get ready for surgery. But you should call your surgeons office and see what their schedule looks like this month.

MIne was pretty quick too. It took my insurance co about 31 days to approve after they received all my info from the dr's office. Then it was about 3 wks til my surgery date.
