realize band vs regular band?

Doctor has given me the option to choose between the realize band or the regular band they have used. Anybody have input on the differences between the two? I am probably going to have surgery beginning of July, doing all preliminary work now.

There is a lot of debate on this in another post on here somewhere - but mainly people are biased as they have one or the other. Most surgeons will push one more than the other - and its probably a lot to do with a) the funding and perks they get from the company and  whatever they feel works. As although they'll push the one that gives them perks, they're hardly going to use one that they know has a lower success rate - as it makes them look bad. End of the day I think they're probably much of a muchness.
