Most doctors have a post op diet - liquids for a week, then mushies, etc. Is your doctor ok with eating solid food so soon? The 1/2 could be fine once the band has healed but your body needs to re-coup for the surgery

Awwwwww stop!!!! Your doc should have given you a list of food phases that you will go through for the next 4 weeks. Most start off on liquids, then pureed, mushies, than soft. This is so your band can heal and if your stomach is churning to digest too early you chance your band slipping. Please double check with your surgeon on what you should be eating. I know it's the weekend but they should have an on call number to help you.

i agree, not normal for most of us. I was on a very strict post op diet. The point isn't to see what you CAN eat but what you are supposed to be eating right now! You can rip your stitches loose and hurt yourself internally.

IF your doc said you could eat real food (solid etc) already, you are one in a very few allowed such a progression.
