Hot and itchy

 Hey everyone. I had LB surgery yesterday and last night and today my face and arms are red, hot and arms are itchy. My sites are fine, I do not have a fever and don't really feel too bad. Just curious if this is a post op thing or a me thing. Had IV potassium just b/4 surgery yesterday. Maybe from that? Or maybe from general anethesia?

It sounds like you are having a reaction to something you were given. I would call the doctor's office and let them know what is going on. They need to know, plus if it is really bothersome, they can give you something to take.

Are you taking any pain medication? I am allergic to Lortabs (hydrocode), and have the same reaction as you are describing. Switch to liquid Tylenol and take a little liquid Benadryl to alleviate the itching.
