EGD bumped up!!

I originally had my EGD scheduled for 5/10. I have been calling every day since 4/15 asking if there are any cancellations for Saturday appts because I work Mon-Fri. I finally got someone to fit me in on 4/25! WoooHooo! Wish me luck. Anyone who has had it done yet, what should I expect?

I've had 2 EGDs related to a bleeding ulcer a couple of years ago. They gave me a mile sedative, sprayed my throat, put a plastic "guide" between my teeth and slid the tube down to my stomach. I was pretty out of it so I don't remember too much about it, but the spray eliminated any gag reflex.

I had mine done about a week ago, I was knocked out and dont remember much of the rest of the day. I went in at 10:30 was out by 11:00 and slept from 12:30 till like 4:30. The only pain I had was when they put the IV in my arm...no worries you should do fine
