Slow Loser

Hi Everyone,

I've been banded (realize band) since 10/29/2008. In the beginning, I was doing great! But now, I've fallen off the bandwagon. The first three months was great. I lost a total of 37lbs. But now, near my 6th month anniversary, I haven't lost a thing. But, I haven't gained as well. What am I doing wrong?

You may not be doing anything wrong. I was a slow looser too. I am at a year and a half and have lost 81 lbs. I just tend to stay the same for a while then drop 10 lbs. It is kinda weird. Try shaking it up some. Do some extra at the gym. It could also be time for a fill. Talk to your doctor. My doctor has been happy with my progress and said it is normal so just check with yours.

maybe you need another fill. make an appt with your doctor. sometimes i feel like i have restriction and then when i do the swallow test under fluoroscope the doctor says i have none and i get a little fill. i can see the fluid going staright through the band.
