For me, the shoulder pain comes when ever I eat too fast or eat things I should not eat-- like bread. It is a referred pain. It is pain caused by eating, but felt in the shoulder.... something about the stomach affecting nerves around it. I can't explain it well, but it is not gas pain. Watch what you eat and see if it is not your body talking to you.

good luck!
