August 31, 200520 yr Barb are you referring to Hurricane Katrinas devastation down south. If so you are right that is a small way to help. I have been thinking how can I help. Last night I saw that the red cross wants volunteers. I live 5 minutes away from Wash, DC so I am going to inquire about volunteering this weekend. They said they need people to answer phones because they are flooded with calls from people trying to find out about their loved ones. Those people down there can't even get back in to New Orleans, total evacuation. They have nothing, clothes, food, Water, absolutly nothing. I want to help. Thanks Barb We can all pray for them.
