Bunnie Recipes

Thought I'd start this thread so that we could share what we are making for our liquid or mushies phases. I know there is food/recipe info elsewhere on the board but I get tired of looking through it. Here is a spot in our own little corner of the board where we can tell each other interesting things we are doing wth our food.

Well I am not a chef by any means! But I will share anyway!

I roasted two free-range chickens

Boiled up sweet potato, pumpkin, spinach and carrots.

Made a very very watery gravy

Blended it all up together and frozen in little 300ml containers. Tastes like I am having a roast meal! YUMMM

I had made some veg beef soup. I made extra broth for the thin liq stage and froze that. After my family was done with the soup, I took what was left and blended it and froze that too.

I made up jello (I used raspberry) and before setting it added a tub of fat-free yoghurt (I used vanilla bean). I made this up for us to have during the pre-op diet phase when we need something to hit the sugar craving (and it does hit that spot!). I think it will also be ok post op after the first day or two of clear liquids.
