Yay! I got the call this morning my surgery has been approved! My surgery date is 04-14. I am so excited. I started the pre auth process back in July '08. I was starting to lose hope. I had actually binged last night on pizza and little debbie snacks I was so like what's the point. Anyhow... I'm relieved and nervous and overwhelmed and just in shock. I can't wait to start my new life as a bander!! :thumbdown:

Hi i started my process in march with the seminar did the six months dietian classes had to make all my appointments myself lost 40lbs before surgery had to wait through the holidays had surgery january 13th 09 lost 19lbs first two weeks had no complications so far it took me 11 months i know what you mean so hang in their.i will be rooting for ya.

You are having yours the same day as I am. April 14, 2009....Can't wait...I started my journey in September 2009 so a little less time than you...Seemed like would take forever but just took one day at a time and now it is almost here. I understand that is the way to look at this new part of our life, one day at a time:smile2:.......
